Chanuka in Dmitrovgrad!

For the third consecutive year, the Jewish Center of Dmitrovgrad had the honor to celebrate Chanukah together with the Marozov Family.

As the Rabbi of the Ulyanovsk region, Rabbi Yosef Marozov traveled over one hundred kilometers with his family to celebrate Chanukah with the Jews of Dmitrovgrad. Dmitrovgrad is the second largest city in the Ulyanovsk region (population 120,000) after Ulyanovsk city (population 700,000).

This Chanukah also commemorates exactly two years since the nomination of Mrs. Olga Bojkova as the President of the Jewish Community of Dmitrovgrad.

For the past two years, the local community was lucky to have an organized celebration for every Jewish holiday, something that was missing for many years.
