Tzdaka

Charity is a new phenomenon for Russian Jewry. Although charity for Jews is age old, dating back to our first forefather Avrohom Avinu - who would wait for hours for guests to arrive at his home, for many living in the Former Soviet Union it is a very foreign concept. In order to encourage people to be part of such a special and fundamental Mitzvah, we have begun distributing Tzdaka boxes designed with beautiful pictures of events and happenings in the community.
