"בקהילה" publishes a report about Ulyanovsk!

Rabbi Yacov B. Friedman, author of one of Israel's leading orthodox magazines "Bakehilah" ("community"), returned from a wonderful trip to Ulyanovsk Russia, the last city at the edge of Siberia. Where more than a sign of communist rule threatens the past, a real revolution is taking place, conducted by the Chief Rabbi and chabad emissary of Ulyanovsk, Rabbi Yosef Marozov

He writes about the latest successes in rebuilding Yiddishkeit in Ulyanovsk, and about the hardships the anti semitism that the Rabbi and his family had to endure in order to live in Ulyanovsk and do their holy work.

He quotes some stories he was told when he was in Ulaynovsk, and also writes some of his thoughts of insprision of what he saw with his own eye's.
