Rabbi Yacov B. Friedman, author of one of Israel's leading orthodox magazines "Bakehilah" ("community"), returned from a wonderful trip to Ulyanovsk Russia, the last city at the edge of Siberia. He writes about the latest successes in rebuilding Yiddishkeit in Ulyanovsk, and about the hardships the anti semitism that the Rabbi and his family had to endure in order to live in Ulyanovsk and do their holy work.
